The move will bolster TCS’s expertise in generative AI and help its clients get the most out of this technology. It also bets on the rapidly growing artificial intelligence space, which is increasingly viewed as a critical competitive differentiator.
Generative AI, a powerful machine learning technique, can generate and retrain models automatically with data to create new predictions, actions, and insights. This means that generative AI can make data-driven decisions independently, helping businesses find new ways to improve their products and services. TCS is accelerating its AI capabilities to help customers reap the benefits of this new approach and has expanded its offering on the Microsofts Azure Cloud platform.
TCS will train 25,000 engineers to get them certified on Microsofts Azure Open AI, which offers access to advanced machine learning tools. The company said that this will allow TCS associates to help clients take an agile, iterative, and incremental approach to deploying generative AI in their business processes. TCS will assist them in enhancing customer experience, launching new business models, and growing revenue. TCS will also help them boost productivity and accelerate software development.
The TCS Generative AI Enterprise adoption offering will utilize a proprietary transformation framework that combines TCS’s contextual knowledge with the power of Azure Open AI services to create solutions for customers, the company said. It will enable TCS and clients to jointly ideate on AI-led solutions to their most pressing business problems, develop proofs of concept using Azure Open AI, build solution roadmaps, collect stakeholder feedback, train the models, build sufficiently strong guardrails, and deploy them.
TCS is already leveraging generative AI in its suite of products and platforms, including TCS Optumera, a retail strategic intelligence platform that uses generative AI to optimize retail operations. It is also helping clients leverage generative AI to automate their business processes, enhance customer service and offer more personalized experiences.
To support its client AI journeys, TCS enables them with a strong foundation with clean data and modernized analytics systems. It is helping them assess their data maturity with solutions like TCS Daezmo and define a holistic strategy with TCS Datom, a unified analytics system. The company is also accelerating AI innovation with the launch of TCS Pace Ports, an internal research and innovation hub in the US and Europe.
TCS is one of Microsofts largest and longest-standing AI partners. It has over 50,000 associates trained in AI and has extensive certifications in Microsoft technologies, including AI, machine learning on Azure, and analytics on Azure. It is a member of the AI Council and a Microsoft Fabric launch partner, having earned a partner designation in Data and AI. It also has a dedicated AI business unit and a robust innovation ecosystem with partnerships with academic researchers, start-ups, and industry bodies. It is also a Microsoft Azure Open AI Council member and has earned significant specializations in Data and AI on the Azure platform.
