Is OnePlus Pad Go the Tablet to Beat in India?

After launching its first OnePlus Pad this year, OnePlus is working on a new Android tablet. The OnePlus Pad Go device has been spotted on a certification website and might launch soon in India. The OnePlus Pad Go is expected to be more cost-effective than its predecessor and could come with several enhancements, including the latest version of the Android operating system.

The OnePlus Pad is the company’s flagship tablet that offers rock-solid performance and battery life. It has a unique design differentiates it from other tablets but is still lightweight and affordable. Despite its low price, the OnePlus Pad can hold its own against other Android tablets, including the much more expensive iPad Pro.

It has a lightweight and sturdy aluminum frame, plus slim 6.54mm bezels. The 10.1-inch screen is also very crisp and bright, making it an excellent choice for reading and watching videos. The OnePlus Pad also has a large 9,510mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging. The battery can go from zero to 90% in about an hour, which is impressive for a tablet.

OnePlus is committed to providing three years of software and four years of security updates for the Pad so you can continue using it for a long time. The only real drawback is that Android has never been optimized well for tablets. You might experience a little lag when switching between apps or scrolling through long web pages.

The OnePlus Pad comes with a 5.5-inch Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is one of the fastest chips available in a tablet. Its pairing with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage results in a snappy performance that makes it a joy to use. It’s also possible to add a SIM card to the OnePlus Pad and connect it with other OnePlus devices for features like hotspot data sharing, clipboard sync, call text, and notification sync.

It’s likely that the OnePlus Pad Go will have a similar internal setup but might come with a lower-end processor and less RAM. It might also have a slightly smaller display and be priced more competitively than the premium OnePlus Pad.

The OnePlus Pad Go might be based on the Android 11 Go operating system, a toned-down version of the regular Android operating system. This might help the OnePlus Pad compete more effectively with other budget Android tablets, such as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 6, which has a similar pricing structure. OnePlus has yet to confirm the launch, but seeing how this tablet performs when it’s finally released will be interesting. Please keep checking back for more details on the OnePlus Pad Go as we get closer to its release. Pre-orders are set to begin on April 28 at Amazon, Flipkart, and OnePlus’ official website. ICICI bank credit and debit cardholders will be eligible for an instant discount when they buy the tablet during this pre-order period.
