Garbine Muguruza Gets Married To Her Fan

Garbine Muguruza, the former French Open and Wimbledon champion, is marrying her fan. That’s right, a man she met in New York in 2021 asked her for a selfie; now, he is a part of her life forever. The 29-year-old Spaniard shared the news with her followers on Instagram, along with a beautiful picture of the two of them.

Muguruza’s engagement story began when she ran into Arthur Borges in Central Park while in New York for the US Open. Borges, a model, wished her luck at the tournament and then asked for a selfie with Muguruza. Muguruza agreed, and the pair have been together ever since.

The couple has been very open about their relationship and has even appeared at events in which Muguruza is playing. They both attended the WTA Tour Finals in 2021, and Muguruza had Borges cheering her on from the stands. The two have also been taking romantic walks around the city every day.

Muguruza took things to the next level this month when she got engaged to Borges. The former world No. 1 shared the news with her Instagram followers, giving a shoutout to Jerry Mcguire’s famous dialogue in the caption. “You had me at ‘Hello,’” Muguruza wrote with a picture of herself and her fiancé.

Muguruza and Borges have been dating for over two years, and the couple seems very happy. They have both been very open about their relationship and have even taken pictures of them together.

One thing is sure — the couple makes for quite the tennis power couple! They both love each other a lot, and you can tell just by looking at them.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the newly engaged duo! We hope to see the lovely pair continue to win on and off the court.

Garbine Muguruza, 29, is a Spanish-Venezuelan tennis player who won the French Open in 2016 and Wimbledon in 2017. She has been ranked world No. 1 and is currently ranked 168. Muguruza has been known for her aggressive style of play and is a favorite on hard courts.

Muguruza is on a tennis break and will not be competing at Roland Garros or Wimbledon this year. However, she has said she will return to the sport when ready. Until then, the two-time Grand Slam winner will enjoy her time off with her fiance.
